Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the University’s mission, leading the definition of data governance policies and standards, and overseeing data lifecycle management. The role involves designing, developing, and managing data architectures, selecting appropriate data technologies, ensuring data integration and interoperability across systems, and providing training to IT teams and end-users. Additionally, responsibilities encompass designing and implementing robust data analytics frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to leverage data insights, supporting the development of data analytics and reporting capabilities, implementing data governance frameworks, conducting regular data audits, and managing projects related to data governance, sharing, and flow processes. The Data Architect also participates in the project lifecycle, prepares project plans, ensures compliance with policies, and maintains comprehensive documentation of data flows and architecture diagrams.
