The common responsibilities for this position include conducting research and submitting papers to top journals in the fields of large vision models or large language models, as well as preparing and submitting grant proposals. The appointee will organize conferences, seminars, reading groups, workshops, and related research activities. They will play a central role in the daily operation of the Taught Postgraduate programmes, teaching two courses per year and supervising student projects or theses. The position also involves performing administrative duties as assigned by the Director of the Institute. Additionally, the appointee will assist project leaders in various research projects, including data collection and analysis, developing machine learning approaches, and collaborating with team members to draw conclusions from datasets. They will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions, engage in project management tasks, and prepare reports and presentations based on research findings.
