The common responsibilities for this position include participating and contributing to physical layer (PHY) algorithm design and system verifications in 5G/6G R&D projects, performing theoretical analysis and conducting computer-aided simulation/analysis, engaging in design and review sessions, and designing and developing standard compliance verification systems. The role involves contributing to the patent portfolio, providing system support for DSP and FPGA implementation, and supporting protocol stack integration. Additionally, tracking and analyzing the evolution of the latest standards such as 5G and beyond, V2X, IoT, and unlicensed/shared spectrum is required. Conducting physical layer (PHY) algorithm design and performance simulations, as well as providing technical contributions towards proprietary or public air interface specifications, are also key responsibilities. Ad-hoc duties may be assigned as needed.
