Compliance Director

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include leading cryptocurrency payment license applications across various regions and jurisdictions, engaging with regulatory authorities to resolve queries and expedite application processes, and staying updated with Hong Kong's regulatory environment and global compliance requirements for digital assets and Web3 businesses. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing risk assessment frameworks for digital asset transactions and Web3 applications, overseeing AML transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting related to cryptocurrency transactions, and providing training to internal teams on regulatory changes and best compliance practices. The Compliance Director will also ensure adherence to AML/CFT, KYC, and licensing requirements for cryptocurrency exchanges and Web3 services, liaise with regulators and industry associations, conduct regular compliance audits, and establish internal policies and procedures for compliance.
