Customer Services Officer

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include providing a full spectrum of customer service for SME customers regarding new and renewal business in consumer insurance lines. This involves delivering first-class customer service, resolving customer queries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally. The role requires handling inbound and outbound calls, live chats, and emails from customers efficiently. Additionally, the officer supports brokers by assessing and addressing insurance needs, managing quotations, terms negotiation, cost comparisons, placements, and post-sales documentation. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and insurance policies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements is essential. The officer also reviews current coverage, renewal dates, and advises on appropriate coverage, negotiating premiums and terms. Building and fostering good relationships with customers and insurers to enhance renewal retention rates is a key responsibility. The officer assists the Customer Services Manager in data collection, consolidation, and report preparation, and performs other ad-hoc assignments as required.
