Laboratory Technician

Responsibility

The common responsibilities for this position include assisting teachers in preparing and delivering practical science lessons, managing laboratory resources and equipment, maintaining health and safety standards, conducting laboratory testing and data logging, collecting sewage and sludge samples for analysis, performing equipment maintenance and calibration, handling chemical tests and sample preparation, supporting in-class activities, procuring and maintaining laboratory supplies, supervising janitors for cleanliness, and undertaking any other assigned duties. Additionally, responsibilities involve conducting mechanical and flammability testing, evaluating test samples, preparing testing results and reports, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
