The common responsibilities for this position include supporting the Senior Project Manager in consultations and project brief development, planning and implementing capital projects, alterations, and renovations to meet time, cost, and quality objectives. The role involves coordinating technical design development with the Functional Support Team and multi-disciplinary consultants, managing day-to-day project activities, and coordinating with various stakeholders throughout all project phases. Responsibilities also encompass acting as the on-site client representative during construction, overseeing internal coordination related to facilities management, health, safety, and sustainability, and managing material and work quality inspections. The Project Manager will oversee procurement and tendering processes, assess and recommend progress payments for consultants and contractors, prepare regular project status reports, and maintain on-site records for cost control. Additionally, they will manage project close-out, including handover processes and documentation, and perform additional duties as required.
