The common responsibilities for this position include participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), analyzing business and user requirements, and designing effective system solutions. Preparing system documentation, including system analysis and design specifications, SIT and UAT plans, and technical documents is essential. The role involves collaborating with software engineers and AI scientists to deliver project outcomes, performing code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure solution quality and stability. Additionally, implementing and supporting public-facing web applications, enhancing and maintaining the existing market data platform, and managing vendor relationships while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders are key duties. The analyst will collect and analyze business requirements, design solutions, develop and implement applications, and provide operational and technical support, including occasional after-hours system support. Managing system design and requirements for timely delivery, collaborating with the ITD information security team on security designs, reviewing vendors' deliverables for adherence to standards, and managing testing and acceptance activities are also critical responsibilities. Lastly, monitoring vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle and assisting the Project Manager in managing project implementation and related initiatives are required.
